Crazy Like a W.A.S.P.

While walking down the street today, I saw a man with a wireless earpiece for his phone. I didn't see that at first because I was coming from his non-robo-head side. So, he just looks like a well-dressed older man standing on the sidewalk with his arms crossed and arguing with no one. I find it difficult not to laugh
at these people. I love that technology is bridging the gap between the businessman and the crazy, homeless man who talks to himself on the street.

I think it'd be better if the earpiece technology was a little more advanced, but at this point, it just looks like you're a Time-Life operator from the 25th Century. They should make these things look like ears or hair or something to blend in. Instead they're all high-tech looking, like some mini-robot is tunneling it's way into your brain through the ear...AND MAYBE IT IS!

The thing I found most amusing was the fact that he was standing there with his arms crossed. I can see if you're driving or typing and need to be doing something else with your hands, but if you're just going to stand there with your arms folded, I'm pretty sure you can hold a phone up to your head. Unless you're Stephen Hawking.

Is it just me or does the voice that Stephen Hawking uses sound just the voice from the movie War Games with Matthew Broderick? Every time he speaks on a topic, all I hear is "Shall we play a game?"

Unfortunately, Mult. Co. Library (my 'music store' of choice lately) doesn't have it. :( But, they do have some of his other albums, so it's not a total loss. :) Gotta' love a library that carries "Shut Up You Fucking Baby".

Ah. See there? I'm a PC user. All "those people" (that is brilliant men in wheelchairs using some sort of text-to-speech) sound the same to me. :)

I do like that there's an OS called "Tiger" though. Sounds sexy...like a Mac. Rrowrrr!

Nope. Sorry. Booked for that month. Catch me sometime in November. We can go see "Sponge Bob on Ice".

YES! Of course we'll go! We need someone new and exciting like you to pull us up off our collective asses and out into the great out-of-doors!
